What to write to us about
- A number looks wrong. Tell us which calculator, the values you entered, the result you got, and what you expected. Accuracy reports are fixed first.
- A calculator you need. Describe the project and the material. Many of our calculators started as reader requests.
- Supplier or regional data. If your area sells a material in different bag sizes or densities, let us know so we can add it.
- Privacy questions. See our Privacy Policy, or email us for anything not covered there.
- Advertising and partnerships. Use the same address with "Partnership" in the subject line.
Before you write
Each calculator page shows its formula, a worked example, and the figures behind it, and our Methodology page lists the densities and coverage rates we use. These often answer "why is my number different from the store's?" straight away.
We can't give project-specific engineering, electrical, or code advice. For structural or electrical work, please consult a licensed professional and your local building department.
